Italian motorcycle pioneer Moto Guzzi has officially opened its rebuilt headquarters on the Lecco shore of Lake Como, featuring a design by American architect Greg Lynn. Developed over five years, the project merges a 38,000-square-metre industrial factory with a 3,000-square-metre public museum.

The exterior features a sequence of tapering, grey metal cone structures that mimic the surrounding mountain landscape. Near the shop, the facade shifts to a classic "Guzzi red," featuring circular and oval windows inspired by motorcycle headlamps and instrument dials.

Inside, the minimalist white galleries house over 160 restored motorcycles, tracing the company's evolution from its original prototype to its world-title-winning racers. Visitors can also unwind at the Moto Guzzi Caffè, which pairs pale terrazzo floors with a striking mint-green coffered ceiling.

Behind the museum is the production facility, which utilizes photovoltaic panels and advanced robotics to target an annual output exceeding 30,000 bikes. An elevated terrace gives guests a clear view of the live assembly lines and a central piazza laid with a mosaic eagle. The venue is currently open for the Moto Guzzi World Days celebration.
