Bandai Shrinks The Tamagotchi Into A Ring

Bandai has turned the familiar egg-shaped Tamagotchi into something you can wear on your finger. The new Tamagotchi Ring keeps the core idea of caring for a digital pet while packing it into a compact, everyday piece of jewelry.

A small color display sits on top of the frame. While the original front buttons are now just decorative, the device is fully playable using two small buttons built into the sides. You still feed, clean, and play with your character throughout the day, only now the whole experience stays discreet on your hand.

The ring drops in three metallic finishes: pink and pearl white, light blue and gold, and black and silver. Pre-orders are open now ahead of its early 2027 release, offering a neat way to carry a bit of 90s nostalgia into daily life without needing to pull a handheld out of your pocket.
