ASICS has launched the GEL-KINETIC FR, a new daily trainer that reworks elements from the brand’s early-2000s running designs. The shoe arrives in Cocoa Powder/Champagne and Black/Pure Silver, both offering clean two-tone contrast.
A lightweight upper sits closer to the foot, creating a leaner profile. Reworked synthetic panels keep the layered construction looking orderly rather than overly technical. Underfoot, the cushioning system evolves ideas from the GEL-KINETIC 2.0, placing Scutoid GEL pods beneath the heel for targeted comfort. A thicker sockliner adds soft support through the forefoot and helps smooth the transition from heel to toe.
The result is a balanced everyday option that pairs technical underpinnings with a quieter, more wearable feel. Both colourways are available now through ASICS.
