Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Dune: Part Three, the conclusion to Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s saga. Drawing from the novel Dune Messiah, the story jumps roughly 17 years after the events of Part Two. Paul (Timothée Chalamet) now rules as emperor, dealing with the fallout of the interstellar holy war he unleashed and the absolute power that came with it.

Villeneuve has framed the film less as a conventional trilogy finale and more as a distinct chapter that re-examines the hero myth and the consequences of messianic leadership. The trailer focuses on an older, more isolated Paul facing rebellion, political intrigue, and betrayal, including from Chani (Zendaya), who is shown involved in the opposition to his rule. The cast also includes Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Momoa, and Robert Pattinson, among returning players.

Dune: Part Three arrives in theaters and IMAX on December 18, 2026.
