Petra Collins’ Wild and Tender “Bloom” Campaign
Petra Collins dropped one of the most talked about campaigns of the year with her work on a major beauty brand’s spring 2026 “Bloom” series.

PETRA COLLINS
The Canadian photographer brought her signature dreamy yet raw style to the project, shooting young women in overgrown gardens, abandoned greenhouses, and soft morning light. The images feel intimate, a little messy, and incredibly alive.
What makes this campaign hit so hard is how Collins captures real emotion and vulnerability. The models are not posing perfectly. They are laughing, touching flowers, lying in grass with dirt on their knees, and looking straight into the lens with that quiet confidence she always pulls out.

The colors are soft pastels mixed with rich greens and warm skin tones that make everything feel alive and glowing. It is sensual without being over the top, empowering while staying gentle.
Collins has always been great at mixing fashion with personal storytelling. In this series she leaned heavily into natural light and 35mm film, giving the photos that soft grain and unpredictable magic you do not get with digital.
She worked with a mostly female crew and cast, creating a safe space where the women could be themselves. The result feels less like advertising and more like a personal diary turned into something beautiful and shareable.

GUCCI BLOOM
This campaign has been everywhere for good reason. It stands out in a sea of polished beauty shots by being honest and a bit rebellious. Petra Collins continues to show why she is one of the most important voices in photography right now.
Her work reminds us that beauty can be imperfect, wild, and still completely magnetic. If you have not seen the full “Bloom” series yet, go look it up. It is the kind of photography that makes you want to get outside and feel something real again.
